Description

Shivbhishekam is a ritual in Hinduism dedicated to Lord Shiva, involving the ceremonial bathing of the Shiva Lingam, a symbolic representation of Lord Shiva. It’s a sacred practice where water, milk, yogurt, honey, ghee (clarified butter), and other auspicious liquids are poured over the Shiva Lingam amidst the chanting of prayers and mantras.
